Looking to save money and help the environment?
Conigliaro Block offers blocks and precast products made with recycled-content "Green-Crete".
There are several Green-Crete mixes, including Agg-Crete, Plas-Crete, EPS-Crete, Glass-Crete or Dust-Crete!
Our recycled-content Green-Crete blocks and precast products will save you money and help you meet your environmental goals!
We have been manufacturing blocks out of our Green-Crete mixes since 1998. These blocks continue to perform well to this day!
100% Recycled Mixed Concrete/Brick/Porcelain/Glass Aggregate/Dusts/Fines – Used to make Agg-Crete Blocks and precast items!
100% Recycled Mixed Plastic Aggregate – Used to make Plas-Crete Blocks and precast items!
100% Recycled Expanded Polystyrene Foam - Used to make lightweight and insulating EPS-Crete Blocks and precast items!

Yes, blocks made with Green-Crete look just like blocks made with standard concrete! Green-Crete compressive strength will typically be lower than 3000 psi standard concrete, but for most applications Green-Crete works great!
Every time it rains we fill our batch plant water tanks with 10,000 gallons of rain runoff water. This water is then used to mix up loads of Green-Crete to make our blocks and other products.
Best of all, the rainwater is recycled and it's FREE!
HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
Using recycled aggregates reduces the amount of energy involved in making concrete. Recycled aggregates are readily available and do not need to be mined from the ground.
SAVE MONEY
Generally, blocks and precast products made with Green-Crete are 25% less expensive than those made with standard concrete!
MEET YOUR SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
Using blocks and precast products made with Green-Crete will help you reach your sustainability goals and earn LEED credits at your jobsite!
Our Green-Crete blocks and precast products look just like their solid concrete counterparts.
They are made using the same forms as our standard 3000 psi concrete blocks and precast products but contain recycled aggregates in place of some or all of the natural stone and/or sand.
Essentially, when we make Green-Crete, we remove the natural stone and/or sand and replace some or all of it with 100% recycled aggregates.
Often, the inclusion of recycled aggregates gives our blocks and other precast products special characteristics that are beneficial for a specific project. For example, our Plas-Crete blocks are 25% lighter than standard blocks - perfect for jobsites where only smaller installation equipment will fit. Our EPS-Crete blocks are also lightweight and have insulating characteristics!
We sell lots of blocks and precast products to private and municipal transfer stations and recycling drop-off centers. Doesn't it make sense for recycling facilities to use our recycled-content blocks for all their material storage bins?
The use of our recycled-content blocks and precast products will also help your project achieve a higher Environmental or LEED rating. More and more city and town planning committees are requiring sustainable building solutions during the permitting process!
Retaining Wall Blocks with Quarry Cut Imprint, made with Agg-Crete
Every block made with recycled material keeps hundreds of pounds of material out of our already over-taxed landfills and may provide some unique and potentially beneficial job site specific characteristics to the blocks!
All of our recycled-content blocks are less expensive than the traditional concrete ones that we manufacture.
If you are seeking a product that will perform well, save you money and help you meet your project’s environmental goals, Conigliaro Blocks made with recycled material may be a great alternative.
The use of these blocks at your project will help you earn more L.E.E.D. points!
